The convoy is the opposite of fringe. We are full on shag carpet baby!
At rest stops someone should offer neck and back massages for drivers and couples therapy for those traveling with their significant others.
WHY IS THE COMPUTER ROUTE SAY ROAD CLOSURE AHEAD?
Well, friends and family, we are stuck in Ashland, Oregon. Interstate 5 over Siskiyou Pass closed due to snow and accidents. As of 5:30 AM Tuesday 02/22/22, the pass has reopened but chains are required. They warn even traction tires won’t be enough.
This is a set-back for arrival in Adelanto, California in time for the convoy launch. I’m looking at alternative routes. Going east to Klamath Falls then down to Reno to catch up with them the next day at their first stop in Kingman, Arizona is a thought. Another idea to wait until later this morning or early afternoon to cross the Siskiyou Pass in hopes conditions improve…we need coffee to assess.
